Every year, billions of drink pouches end up in dumpsters and landfills across America. TerraCycle, Capri Sun and Honest Kids are working together to put an end to this enormous loss of resources. As an eco-friendly innovator, TerraCycle converts the drink pouch material into innovative products from tote bags and pencil cases to plastic lumber and pavers!

The Drink Pouch Brigade allows schools, non-profit organizations, or individuals to save drink pouches from taking up space in landfills. For each approved juice pouch received, your collection location will be awarded two TerraCycle points which can be redeemed for a variety of charitable gifts or for a payment of $0.01 per point to the non-profit organization or school of your choice.

Box Tops for Education and ACME, Albertsons, Cub, Farm Fresh, Jewel, Shaw’s, Shop ‘n Save, and Shoppers have joined together to create Growing Local Learning®, a program to help shoppers earn cash for their schools.

Box Tops for Education has helped schools earn over $400 million since 1996.

Since Growing Local Learning® started in March 2010, over $1.7 million has been earned by schools through Growing Local Learning!

Simply collect the caps and bag tops from specially marked Milk Moola products, and for each cap and bag top your school or organization redeems, Kwik Trip, Inc. will give you 5¢. For each Glazers price oval from Glazers dozen or half-dozen boxes of Glazers Donuts, Kwik Trip, Inc. will give you 10¢.

And unlike other programs, there’s no limit to the amount of cash you can receive from Milk Moola and Donuts to Dough. From a few hundred dollars to thousands and thousands, you decide how much you would like to earn by the number of caps, bag tops and price ovals redeemed!

This unique program for schools can not only benefit your school now, but help keep them in free supplies all year long. All you need to do is make a qualifying purchase at Office Depot and present your school’s 5% Back to Schools program ID.

Lionsgate Academy is taking part in a national fundraising program sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. called Tyson Project A+. Through this program, LGA can raise as much as $12,000 this year! The money raised can go towards buying books or computers, making improvements to our buildings, or anything else that LGA needs.

To get involved, clip and save the entire Project A+ label from participating Tyson products. Each label collected is worth 24¢ for our school. A collection site has been set up at the school where you can drop off your redemption labels.

The program is simple. It works like this:

  1. Save the caps of LAND O LAKES® Milk, Orange Juice or Chocolate Milk (with the Save Five For Schools® stickers).
  2. Bring the caps to Lionsgate Academy.
  3. Send the caps in with the enclosed Redemption Form [minimum 2,000 caps].
  4. A check will be sent to your Lionsgate Academy.
