We are beginning the 4th quarter this week.
Also MCA testing (Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments) begin this week and continue through May 3rd. We finished last quarter by taking a sample MCA Math test. Encourage your student to get plenty of rest and eat a hearty breakfast on testing days.
Most of the Tuesday Geometry classes will be doing MCA tests, so we are not planning new lessons for Tuesday this week.

We hope you like the new format for the web page. We’re trying to make it easy for students and their at home support to access whatever they need quickly and easily. Starting this week we are supplying the Teacher Notes (completed Worksheets).
Since the end of 3rd Quarter is less than 3 weeks away, please help make sure your student is completing and turning in assignments. Assignments are now graded, so you may see a score of 5.1 which signifies that a lesson was (or will be) returned to the student for corrections. Late assignments ALWAYS earn some credit, and assignments account for about half of the quarter grade computation.

We are quickly approaching the end of the 1st quarter, with only 8 school days remaining (4 A days and 4 B days). The B1 and B2 Geometry students were given their current grade and also a list of missing assignments on Friday, 10/28.
B1 and B2 Plan for the Week:
Tuesday – Lesson 2.6. Proving Statements about Segments and Angles.
- A assignment is PG 116 #5-23 Odd
- B assignment is PG 116 #5-17 Odd, and 21
Friday – Quiz and Catch-Up Day
Any student from B1 or B2 who has missing assignments after Friday’s catch-up day will have an email sent home to parents.
