Welcome back everyone!

As we start this new quarter, students are encouraged to get organized by cleaning out old assignments and materials that are not needed as we move forward. The Goal this final quarter of the year is to keep caught up on assignments and have the most successful quarter of the year.

We will be studying chemical reactions this quarter in chemistry.  This is exciting for both students and teacher because it means lots of fun activities. I invite you to continue visiting the lesson plan website to keep updated on the happenings in Chemistry class.

In chemistry students have been exploring crystals! They have used what they have learned about ionic compounds and the formation of crystals to design their own experiments.  They will use this exploration to learn the skills of writing a lab report.  We will see whose experiments will support their hypothesis as we watch the crystals grow.

Hello LGA Chemistry Community!

I (with the help of my lovely colleagues) have come up with a new format for delivering weekly lessons to you.  I will periodically be updating this site as a reminder of what we are currently exploring in class, but I will be updating the google document that is linked below weekly.  By following the link below, you can access the Topic, Daily Agenda and Activities, Planner information, Powerpoints and assignments for each lesson.
