As we move into Week 7, the Transitions class students are continuing to explore and discuss topics such as perspective taking, appropriate and inappropriate behaviors, social awareness of boundaries, and interpreting communication messages. This week we began to discuss the nature and art of developing effective communication strategies.
During the next few weeks we will be taking our class quizzes to summarize our topic areas. Students continue to develop their Social Goals each week and are reviewing their own individual successes. Students are encouraged to work on goals that are relevant to school or home and already a part of their everyday activities and routines.
Next week we will have a short week so 2 Social Goals will be set for the long weekend to be accomplished.
