Lionsgate Academy (District 4183) is required to issue the MAP (district) test twice a year and the MCA (state) test once a year.

Science

The MCA-II Biology test is not currently used to determine graduation eligibility. This is a computer-based test taken the year students fulfill their Biology requirement. No science test samplers are available at this time.

Grade 9-Writing

Grade 10-Reading

The reading test gauges proficiency in using strategies to understand, analyze, interpret, and evaluate fiction and nonfiction text. Vocabulary items require the use of context clues to determine word meanings. This is not a timed test. The test contains 59 questions.

Grade 11-Math

The math test gauges proficiency in mathematical problem solving. There are four sub-strands tested: mathematical reasoning; patterns, functions, and algebra; data, statistics, and probability; and spatial sense, geometry and measurement. This is not a timed test.
