Nicholas Goodwin, Sensory Specialist Manager

Mr. Goodwin earned his degree in Psychology at Augsburg College with a minor area of study in Spanish. After graduating from Augsburg in 2007 he spent six months in Santiago, Chile working as an English teacher and honing his Spanish. Following that time in Chile he volunteered in the mountains of Costa Rica for several months before returning to Minnesota just in time for Lionsgate Academy to open its doors for the first time.
Mr. Goodwin was hired as a classroom Educational Assistant at Lionsgate in August 2008. During that year he was trained in conflict resolution, restorative justice, and civil mediation through Community Mediation Services, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. In the fall of 2010 the Lion’s Lounge was reborn as the Regulation Station, which Mr. Goodwin now manages.
