Patrick Chesla MSW, LICSW
Mr. Chesla received his Bachelor of Social Work with a minor in sociology from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. He received his MSW (Masters in Social Work) from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and became a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in 2009, and has completed the triad of Autism Spectrum Disorder classes from St. Thomas University in Minneapolis.
Before joining the staff at Lionsgate Academy in August of 2010, Mr. Chesla worked as a school social worker in Oak Land Area Learning Center in Cambridge, Minnesota, and Milaca Elementary School.
McKenzie Hennessey, Licensed School Social Worker
Ms. Hennessey graduated in May 2010 from the College of St. Schlastica with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work as well as a Health Care Certification. She completed her first field placement at Northwood Children’s Services, which is an inpatient residential treatment center that provides professional care, education, and treatment for boys and girls with emotional, behavioral, and learning disabilities. Her second field placement was at St. Louis County working in their Child Protection Unit.
Lyndsey Tisch, MSW, LGSW
Ms. Tisch received her bachelors of science in Therapeutic Recreation with a Child and Youth Emphasis from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and her masters of social work degree from Colorado State University. She interned in a residential treatment facility for children and adolescents with severe psychiatric, emotional and behavioral concerns. During her graduate program, she completed an internship in a non-profit organization which advocated for children and families who experienced physical, sexual and emotional abuse and as a school social worker for a school district in Loveland, CO.
Before joining Lionsgate Academy team in 2010, Ms. Tisch worked as a school based therapist in a western suburban school district. She also has experience as a school social worker in a setting 4 program working with students with emotional/behavioral disorders.
